The wines of Wildekrans Barrel Selection Range are made exclusively from the winery’s very best vines. Very few grapes were left on the trunks here - this results in a richer, more complex style of wine.

The wines of the Barrel Selection spend up to 24 months in French oak. The wooden barrels are mainly barrique barrels from the first location. The wines in this series receive numerous awards every year, from double gold in the Michelangelo Award, first-class Platter awards to platinum in the South African Wine Index.
