On the nose, the Cape’s characteristic spice immediately comes through: fully ripe raspberries and juicy plums meet clove and a hint of vanilla. Responsible for this fine finish is six to eight months of aging on staves made from 70% French, 20% American and 10% Hungarian oak, providing \u003cstrong\u003edeeply layered oak spice and aromatic density\u003c\/strong\u003e.
