Winery Under Oaks
Under Oaks is an established one Winery family owned, located in the picturesque Cape Winelands town of Paarl located. Here the Britz family produces fine boutique wines and offers their guests an unforgettable wine experience. In addition to the wine cellar, the farm also offers idyllic overnight accommodation and an excellent pizzeria. The property is a working farm deeply rooted in ancient South African history and dates back to 1695. The first vintage of Under Oaks Wine was bottled in 2001. The historic cellar was completely renovated in 2014. A special feature of Under Oaks are the two sons JP and Matt, basically the South African equivalent of Max & Moritz ;-) The so-called "Britz Brothers" are obsessed with livestock, ecology, viticulture and agriculture. The brothers discovered their business acumen early on. So, at the ages of 12 and 14, they started growing watermelons and delivering them to the fruit market in Cape Town. They entered the wine industry with their “The Secret” wine series and have been creating together with winemakers ever since Bertus Fourie excellent wines without revealing which grape varieties are hidden behind them.

Winemaker: Bertas Fourie
Run by the Britz family, that is Winery by its very talented winemaker Bertus Fourie known. Every year he conjures up distinctive wines and wins numerous awards around the world. The philosophy of Under Oaks is called 'Boutique Style'. This means that the wines are made from only the best grapes from each vintage. Consequently they are Wines only in small quantities and of very high quality available. The winemaker Bertus Fourie is particularly famous for his chocolate/coffee Pinotages Winery Diemersfontein known. He is considered the inventor of this coffee wine style.

The "The Bold Secret" from the Winery Under Oaks is characterized by its special full-bodied character out of.
Pleasant aromas appear on the nose dark fruits as well as earthy nuances. It stays on the palate Under Oaks The Bold Secret seine fruitiness with flavors of cherry and Black currant.
The Winemaker and the Britz brothers do not reveal which grape varieties behind this one powerful cuvée put. This remains a secret. The aging potential of the The Bold Secret is up to 15 years.

Eine günstigere und nicht viel aufwendigere Alternative ist, sich den Wein ins deutsche Grenzgebiet liefern zu lassen und die Verzollung selbst vorzunehmen. Du erhältst dann die deutsche MwSt zurück, hast eine Freimenge von 5 Liter pro Person und zahlst 2 CHF Zoll für jeden weiteren Liter.
Zudem liefern wir frachtkostenfrei ab 120€ innerhalb Deutschlands. Des weiteren musst Du Dich nicht mit dem Paketdienst abstimmen und sicherstellen, dass jemand da ist, sobald die Lieferung eintrifft.
Wenn Du keine Möglichkeit hast, die Ware zu Freunden ins Grenzgebiet liefern zu lassen, dann können wir den Wein in einen UPS Access Point in Grenznähe nahe zu Deinem Wohnort liefern lassen. Du brauchst Dich nicht zu registrieren, es entstehen keine weiteren Kosten und Du musst nur Deine Weine innerhalb eines gewissen Zeitrahmens dort abholen.
Ferner gibt es verschiedene Anbieter von Paketshops, von denen Du Dein Paket gegen eine kleine Gebühr abholen lassen kannst, z.B. Folgende Länder erheben eine Verbrauchsteuer auf Wein (Stand: Mai 2021): Belgien, Dänemark, Estland, Finnland, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Irland, Lettland, Litauen, Niederlande und Polen. Aufgrund ihrer Beförderung im EU-Binnenmarkt werden Postsendungen aus Ländern der Europäischen Union regelmäßig nicht von der Zollverwaltung behandelt.
