Pierneef Shiraz Viognier from La Motte Winery impresses with its rich, fruit-forward style. The grapes from the Elim region of South Africa have an intense colour and a very concentrated aroma.
Aromas of mulberry and spice take centre stage, while hints of cedarwood add depth to the finish.
This full-bodied red wine is dominated by the Shiraz grape variety (95%). The small proportion of Viognier (5%) makes the wine unique. On the palate, Pierneef Shiraz Viognier is soft and silky, with finesse on the finish.
