The Anthonij Rupert Protea Rosé has a subtle, delicate pink hue that visually highlights its fine berry aromas - especially strawberry and raspberry. From the first moment, it captivates with enticing freshness, marked by juicy berries and a delicate note of plum. On the palate, the wine reveals all its finesse: it is lively and fresh, yet soft and harmonious in structure. The rich aromas of plum and berries are perfectly balanced by lively acidity, giving the wine remarkable depth and complexity. The wine's fine texture accentuates its dryness and lends it a long-lasting, pleasantly fresh finish. A rosé that impresses with its balance of fruit and acidity, structure, and lingering finish.

Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Grenache, Carignan, Shiraz
This cuvée brings together red and dark fruit with spicy, structure-building components. Grenache and Cinsault often contribute juicy cherry and berry notes: Grenache tends to add body and warmth, while Cinsault brings fragrance and lightness. Carignan can add definition with lively acidity, firm tannins and dark fruit. Mourvedre and Shiraz mainly contribute colour, structure and spice, with hints of pepper, herbs and dark berries, for example.
The grape varieties used are found in southern French and Mediterranean viticulture, and in some cases also in South Africa and Australia; this combination alone does not indicate a specific origin. In the glass, the cuvée is usually ruby red to deep dark red. Depending on the location and ageing, the style ranges from juicy and approachable to full-bodied, tannic and more complex with age. It pairs well with grilled vegetables, slow-cooked dishes or spicy food.
