The winery places great emphasis on sustainable viticulture and combines traditional methods with modern technology to produce wines of exceptional quality.
Highlights include the Peter Falke Cabernet Sauvignon – the flagship grape variety of the estate – and the South African Sauvignon Blanc, which impressively reflect the potential of the Stellenbosch wine region . The South African Cabernet Sauvignon embodies the expertise and passion with which Peter Falke creates its wines.
Alongside these classics, other grape varieties such as South African Chardonnay and South African Cabernet Franc are also part of the portfolio. Peter Falke Wines is known not only for its wines, but also for its striking architecture and art exhibitions, which make the winery a cultural attraction.
Translation missing: en.Tasting notes
The Blanc de Noir from Peter Falke is a varietal rosé wine made exclusively from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape. It displays a delicate pink hue in the glass and reveals a seductive bouquet of crushed strawberries, ripe nectarines and fragrant petals. Delicious pomegranate flavours unfold on the palate, perfectly complemented by a harmonious balance of acidity and sweetness. A long, smooth finish rounds off the flavour experience, making this rosé wine a treat for the senses.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon usually produces full-bodied red wines with clear structure and pronounced tannin. Typical aromas include blackcurrant, dark cherry and Blackberry, often accompanied by herbal or slightly bell pepper-like notes. Prominent acidity gives the dense fruit profile definition. In the glass, the grape variety usually shows a deep ruby-red colour, often with violet hues in its youth. With age, notes of tobacco and cedarwood may develop.
Its historic home is Bordeaux; important growing regions are also found in California, Chile, Australia and South Africa. Cooler sites often produce a tauter, more herbaceous style, while warmer regions tend to yield riper fruit and greater richness. Depending on how they are aged, the result can be fruit-forward or oak-influenced wines with different tannin textures. They pair well with hearty meat dishes, braised vegetables and aged cheese.
