Tasting Note
The MCC Brut Rosé from Pongrácz Winery is made from 60% Pinot Noir, which lends it elegance, and 40% Chardonnay, which gives it its distinctive body and flavour. The grapes are hand-harvested from January to mid-February. After whole-bunch pressing with minimal skin contact, the clear grape juice is settled before being pumped into stainless steel tanks for cool fermentation.
In the glass, this Pongrácz MCC Brut Rosé shows a pale pink colour, accompanied by a very pleasant perlage. Delicate strawberry notes are complemented by a hint of baked bread. On the palate, the MCC Brut Rosé is perfectly balanced, with very gentle acidity and juicy blackberry fruit.
