Val de Vie

The Winery Val de Vie is located in the picturesque Paarl-Franschhoek Valley, a region in South Africa, also known as the "Valley of Life". The estate’s history dates back to the early 1600s, when Huguenot descendant Abraham Andries le Roux brought his extensive knowledge of viticulture to the region. Since then, the ideal climate, with its mix of cool and warm winds, has played an important role in producing Val de Vie wines.

Val de Vie is committed to producing wines of the highest quality while paying tribute to the sport of polo. The L’Huguenot Vinoteque is home to the exclusive Val de Vie and Polo Club wines. The wines are bottled in the estate’s 100-ton capacity L’Huguenot cellar. The Val de Vie collection comprises three refined, timeless cuvées, while the Polo Club-range consists of four different cuvées, including wines made from the grape variety Pinotage, offering a perfect match for every palate.

The region of the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley provides ideal conditions for viticulture. Its unique terroir and varied microclimates contribute to the complexity and diversity of Val de Vie wines. The winery invites visitors to enjoy the wines in a world-class setting and discover the beauty of the valley.
