About Us
WHO ARE WE?
The idea for The WineStore came about on a trip to South Africa during the semester break of our studies.
We (Max & Moritz) got a taste for South African wine and the enjoyable lifestyle of this region. And so we asked ourselves why it must be so difficult to get the Chenin Blancs, Pinotages or Sauvignons from the lowest tip of Africa onto the wine shelf and into the glass in our home town of Munich. Exactly this wine-loving thought and a quite purposeful thirst were the beginning and incentive for Max and Moritz to start their own first prank - an online wine shop specializing in South Africa, called The WineStore.
