Hamilton Russell Winery

In 1991, Hamilton Russell took over the Winery of his parents near the fishing village of Hermanus at the Cape of Good Hope. Since then, he has been producing high-quality wines experimentally and curiously from carefully selected grapes. Hamilton Russel Wineyards is one of the southernmost Wineries in Africa. The Winery pioneered viticulture in the cool, maritime Hemel-en-Aarde Valley region, which lies behind the old fishing village of Hermanus. The Winery specializes in producing highly individual, terroir-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Thus, Hamilton Russell Vineyards is counted among the best Wineries in South Africa and the New World.
