Right on the cool Atlantic coast of Cape Town, this unconventional blend is crafted with real depth. The glass opens with caramelised pineapple and ripe apple, underpinned by delicate citrus zest and nutty notes.

On the palate, you can taste the skilled Aged in amphora and wood: a creamy texture with juicy quince and pear meets lively acidity and a fine lees character. The finish is powerful, grippy and wonderfully long.

A characterful wine that reveals its full complexity with a little air in a large glass. It pairs beautifully with pan-fried lake char and creamy pumpkin purée or tender braised poultry.
