Tasting Note

Although Chenin Blanc is the most widely planted grape variety in South Africa, 2017 was the maiden vintage of the Chenin Blanc from Holden Manz. Despite its short history, this Chenin Blanc is already one to watch.


This fresh, single-varietal Chenin Blanc has a delicate golden-yellow hue and releases intensely fragrant aromas of peach, jasmine and apple blossom. On the palate, it impresses with a medium body and balanced acidity, accented by hints of pear and melon. A subtle touch of oak makes for a wonderfully exciting drinking experience.

Overall, a complex, authentic wine in which winemaker Thierry Haberer has once again demonstrated his full knowledge and skill.
