The Idiom Winery Cape Blend red wine opens with intense notes of dark red fruit, reminiscent of ripe plums and juicy black cherries. These are joined by hints of red velvet cake, a subtle cocoa note and a delicate touch of tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet balanced, with a dense, fruit-forward mid-palate. The tannins are soft and silky, adding structure without interrupting the flow. The moderate acidity keeps the opulent fruit fresh and gives the wine an inviting lift.
