Tasting Note
In the glass, a deep ruby red with slightly mature reflections. The nose reveals a complex array of aromas of dark berries such as Blackberry and blackcurrant, complemented by notes of dried fruit, cedarwood and a hint of tobacco. Extended ageing in French oak barrels adds further depth, along with subtle hints of vanilla and spice. Full-bodied and harmonious on the palate, with an elegant structure. The high proportion of Merlot gives the wine a soft, rounded texture, while the Cabernet Sauvignon lends it backbone and length. The tannins are well integrated, carrying the dark fruit and spicy notes through the mid-palate. The finish is long, smooth and layered, with lingering notes of dark fruit, oak and delicate spice.
