Avondale's Navitas red wine has an intense aroma of dark, stewed fruits such as plum and Blackberry, accompanied by spice notes of cinnamon, cloves and white pepper. There's also a subtle hint of earthiness and fine minerality, reminiscent of cool, stony soils. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, soft and elegant, with silky, integrated tannins and a fine, vibrant freshness that gives the wine length and depth. The finish is spicy, fruit-forward and lingering.
