The Durbanville Hills Collectors Reserve Chenin Blanc is a dry white wine from South Africa.
The grapes for this wine come from selected vineyards in the Durbanville region, known for its cool temperatures and maritime influence. The Chenin Blanc shows aromas of ripe peaches, citrus fruits, green apples and a hint of honey on the nose. On the palate, it is balanced with pleasant freshness and acidity, accompanied by notes of lime, pear and subtle minerality.
The wine was Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, imparting subtle vanilla and oak notes and enhancing its complexity and structure. The finish is long and fresh, with a hint of spice and salty minerality. It is already delightful to enjoy now, but also has the potential to age for up to 5 years.
