Tasting Note

The "Elysium" from Holden Manz is a co-fermented wine made from Merlot and Syrah. As these two grape varieties rarely ripen at the same time at the Holden Manz Winery in Franschhoek, Elysium can only be made in exceptional years.

Aromas of strawberry, dark cherry and hints of Chocolate make Holden Manz Elysium a truly special tasting experience.

The two grape varieties were hand-picked on 10 March by Winemaker Thierry Haberer, then carefully sorted so that only perfectly ripe berries were used for this wine.

Only 800 bottles of Elysium were produced, making this wine a true rarity. Its complete and balanced structure gives it excellent ageing potential until 2035.
