The Aristargos 2022 from Winery David & Nadia was made predominantly from Chenin Blanc grapes. The grapes from the two Sémillon vineyards were fermented on the skins for a week before being pressed. Afterwards they matured for a year in a very old 2500-liter cask.
The Colombard was also fermented on the skins (for 5 days) and aged in an old oak barrel. Part of the Chenin Blanc was fermented and aged in a concrete egg. In total grapes from 17 different vineyards were used, which were harvested on 23 different days.
The Aristargos 2020 delights many wine drinkers with its incredibly smooth mouthfeel, rounded out by aromas of fresh pear, gentle honey notes and crisp pear.
