Max & Moritz

For over 60 years, the Moritz family has been dedicated to winegrowing in Horitschon On around 3 hectares, only the grape varieties Blaufränkisch and Blauer Zweigelt are cultivated exclusively. The Winery has been fully organic since 2006 to ensure the highest quality in harmony with nature. This leads to region-typical, characterful red wines.

The compact size of the winery allows for attentive care of the vines. Every plant receives the specific attention it needs to produce the finest grapes. Loosely clustered grapes, well-ventilated vine canopies, and tailored ground cover in the vineyard rows help create fruit-forward red wines shaped by the terroir.

The exclusivity of the wines continues in the cellar. Much of the bottling is finished with a handmade felt label, making the quality and uniqueness of the wines visible and enjoyable to the touch. With an annual production of only about 15,000 bottles, the wines are rare and sought after throughout Austria. begehrt.
