The Cabernet Sauvignon from the La Motte Winery pours into the glass with a complex yet gentle structure. An elegant, typically South African Cabernet Sauvignon red wine that excellently reflects the characteristics of the grape variety.
The deep red color and the large extract testify to a great year for red wines. Intense, variety-typical bouquet with aromas of blackcurrant, violet, mint and plum.
The La Motte Cabernet Sauvignon has a full body which, paired with an intense fruitiness, brings a smile to every wine lover's face.

Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah & Cinsault
This cuvée combines red and dark berry fruit with spice and structure. Grenache and Cinsault often contribute juicy fruit and floral nuances: Grenache tends to provide fullness and body, while Cinsault can make the blend feel lighter and more fragrant. Syrah and Mourvèdre add darker fruit, peppery to herbal notes, as well as colour and tannin. Syrah can also support the acidity; however, how fresh the cuvée feels depends greatly on the site and harvest date.
The grape varieties are particularly widespread in southern France, for example in the southern Rhône, Provence and Languedoc, without establishing the origin of this combination. As a red wine, it usually shows a ruby-red to dark colour in the glass and a fruit-driven to richly spiced style; as a rosé, it appears lighter and more delicate. It pairs well with Mediterranean vegetable dishes, grilled foods or mild cheese.
