Beau Constantia
The Beau Constantia Winery is perched high on the slopes of Constantia and offers breathtaking panoramic views across the vineyards. The Constantia region is known for its elegant cool-climate wines. The winery, led by winemaker Justin van der Velde specialises in producing distinctive wines that reflect the uniqueness of the location.
Specialities include an expressive Sauvignon Blanc and a Viognier, both of which highlight the freshness and minerality of the soil. The award-winning Bordeaux-style blends are also particularly noteworthy, combining complexity and elegance. These are often based on grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Every bottle is testament to the meticulous craftsmanship and dedication behind the creation of world-class wines here. The modern cellar facilities help preserve the quality of the grapes and produce expressive wines.
Introducing Beau Constantia
Beau Constantia Winery is situated on the slopes of the Constantia Nek mountain pass, overlooking False Bay. What makes this location special is its short distance from the sea, which allows the fresh ocean breeze to cool the vines. The winery's young winemaker, Megan van der Merwe, believes that as little as possible should be done to interfere with the processes that take place from vine to wine.
Now you have the chance to discover the outstanding wines of Beau Constantia in all their facets.
