Winery Klein Constantia

Klein Constantia Winery, picturesquely situated in the Constantia region near Cape Town, is one of South Africa’s oldest wineries. Founded in 1685, it has a rich history closely linked to South African wine culture.

Klein Constantia is best known for its legendary Vin de Constance, a fine sweet wine made from the Muscat de Frontignan grape. In the 18th and 19th centuries, this wine was highly prized at the courts of European royal houses and appreciated by figures such as Napoleon Bonaparte.
