With this Non-Vintage Rosé, Grande Provence Winery from the Western Cape proves just how elegant South African sparkling wine can be. Made from 100% Pinot Noir and bottle-fermented according to the traditional Méthode Cap Classique, this sparkling wine brings pure joie de vivre and fine depth to the glass. On the nose, a wonderfully enticing bouquet immediately invites you to take the first sip. Ripe notes of juicy strawberries and fresh red berries meet a delicate yeasty character that beautifully complements the rich Pinot Noir fruit. On the palate, the Rosé is remarkably lively, with juicy, refreshing acidity and a seductively creamy texture that spreads velvety across the palate. With a slender 12% ABV, the red-berry fruit lingers in the fine mousse, long, clear and refreshing.

Pinot Noir
The Pinot Noir, also known as Spätburgunder, is one of the world's noblest and most demanding red wine grape varieties. It is characterised by its pale ruby-red to brick-red colour . The bouquet is complex, with aromas of red berries such as cherry, raspberry and strawberry, often complemented by spicy notes, earthy tones or nuances of undergrowth with age. The wines are generally elegant, medium-bodied wines but can also be powerful and profound.
Typical growing regions include French Burgundy, while Germany, Oregon, California and South Africa also produce outstanding Pinot Noirs. The style ranges from fruit-driven and fresh to complex and mature, often refined through ageing in barriques, which can impart notes of vanilla or roasted coffee.
Pinot Noir offers a fine balance of fruit and acidity and is a versatile food pairing wine. It pairs well with poultry, mushroom dishes, white meats and mild cheese.
