About Us
WHO ARE WE?
The idea for The WineStore was conceived on a trip to South Africa during the semester break of our studies.
We (Max & Moritz) acquired a taste – for South African wine and the enjoyable lifestyle of this region. And so we asked ourselves why it has to be so difficult to get Chenin Blancs, Pinotages, or Sauvignons from the southern tip of Africa onto our wine shelves and into our glasses back home in Munich. This very wine-inspired thought and a rather focused thirst were the beginning and incentive for Max and Moritz's first own venture – founding an online wine shop entirely specialized in South Africa, named The WineStore.
