Hand-picked grapes from Robertson Estate and other top vineyards come together to create a sparkling wine that radiates pure joy in a glass. After gentle whole-bunch pressing and twelve months on the lees, an irresistibly charming bouquet unfolds on the nose. Ripe citrus and stone fruit meet delicate butterscotch, honey and praline, lending the aromas a wonderfully inviting depth. On the palate, the blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and hints of Alvarinho, Pinot Gris, Viura, Colombar and Pinot Meunier delivers a spectacular interplay: a generous 38.3 grams of residual sugar is perfectly balanced by precise, firm acidity at 7.4 grams, keeping this Cap Classique deliciously juicy and lively at 12.04% ABV. Chilled to 6 to 8 °C, this sparkling wine is made for lively celebrations and intriguing contrasts on the palate.
