An award-winning restaurant and an elegant manor house round out the offering and turn the estate into a true gem in the heart of of Franschhoek. Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa and Chenin Blanc from South Africa, which consistently receive high Reviews.
Passion for the highest quality is evident in every wine and reflects the commitment of the entire team.
The traditional Winery Grande Provence brings the concentrated energy of South Africa’s Western Cape to the glass with this Cap Classique Brut. The classic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir cuvée impressively demonstrates how pure elegance and vibrant freshness emerge through traditional bottle fermentation.
On the nose, an immediate complex, yeasty character unfolds, reminiscent of fine yeast pastries and fresh brioche. This is joined by aromas of crisp green apple and juicy citrus notes, underpinned by delicate red berry fruit.
On the palate, the sparkling wine shows a fine, creamy mousse with a feather-light 12% ABV. A firm, wonderfully invigorating acidity provides plenty of drive and carries the balanced texture into a long, precise finish.
This non-vintage fizz is best enjoyed well chilled at 6–8 °C as an invigorating aperitif. It is enormous fun on its own and pairs superbly with fresh oysters or crispy tempura vegetables.

Chardonnay & Pinot Noir
The cuvée of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir combines freshness with substance and is particularly well established as a sparkling wine . Chardonnay often contributes citrus and apple notes, lively acidity and a slender profile; Pinot Noir adds body, structure and sometimes delicate red fruit. Together, they create a balanced yet taut and full-bodied style. The acidity and substance support its ageing potential; extended lees ageing can add brioche and toasted notes.
This combination is classic in Champagne, and is also found in high-quality sparkling wines from other cool regions, such as England. With light pressing, the cuvée is usually pale yellow to golden yellow, and delicate pink as a rosé. Despite its dark berry skins, Pinot Noir contributes hardly any perceptible tanninwhen handled gently. The perlage accentuates freshness and texture; depending on the Aged, the wine may feel linear or creamy. It pairs well with fish, white meat and mild vegetable dishes.
