Winery Johanninger

The Winery Johanninger is located in the beautiful Biebelsheim, in the German wine-growing region Rheinhessen. The Winery was founded in 1994 through the merger of two family wineries - the Haas and Schuldfried families. The vineyards of the Winery Johanninger cover 20 hectares of vineyard area divided into three growing regions. In the Nahe growing region (municipality of Kreuznach), Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris are planted on the shell limestone soils.
This variety of different sites and soils is reflected in the Johanninger wines.
The philosophy of the Winery Johanninger is to produce individual wines that clearly reflect the terroir and the climate. In doing so, the long-standing experience of the wineries is always utilized.
The Winery has also made it its mission to work ecologically and environmentally friendly. Since 2013, Johanninger has been BIO-certified. Each vine is cared for individually and harvested by hand.
