The Syrah from La Bri Winery shows intense aromas of ripe berry fruit and fine dark Chocolate. On the palate, it is juicy and smooth, with elegant notes of clove and herbs that evoke a walk through a Mediterranean herb garden.
The grapes come exclusively from a selected vineyard block in Franschhoek, with low yields of 4–5 t/ha. After a week of cold maceration, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, before the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in barrel. It then matured for 24 months in carefully selected French oak barrels.
