Holden Manz Wine Estate
The Winery Holden Manz in the picturesque wine region Franschhoek is known for its outstanding red wine cuvées and elegant single-varietal wines. Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of South Africa, it benefits from a unique terroir shaped by its altitude and soil conditions.
On estate-owned vineyards, classic grape varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah are grown first and foremost. But wines made from Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc are also known for their quality.
The winery focuses on sustainable farming and gentle handling of the grapes. The wines, including specialties like the Holden Manz Visionaire, are often praised for their structure, complexity, and aging potential.

The Visionary from the Winery Holden Manz is a red wine cuvée which in the nose with fragrant nuances of Blackberry as well as an appeal of mint and white pepper impressed.
On the palate, other flavors are reflected plums, spices and a whiff Fynbos wider. Die silky tannins provide for one nice balancebefore the Holden Manz Visionaries with one mineral finish adopted.
This cuvée has everything a good red wine needs: depth, complexity, fruit and Balance. For us it's a real one all-rounder and thus the 'Go-To' Wein for a relaxing evening with friends.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot
This cuvée combines dark fruit, spice and a supportive structure. Merlot and Malbec can contribute plum and berry notes as well as a rounded body, while Shiraz often complements the fruit richness with peppery spice . Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot mainly provide tannin, depth of colour and backbone; Cabernet Sauvignon can also support the acidity structure. Cabernet Franc often adds red-fruit, herbal nuances and freshness. How pronounced these contributions are depends on ripeness, origin and ageing.
In the glass, the cuvée usually appears deep ruby-red to violet. Stylistically, it often falls within the category of full-bodied, structured red wines, but it can be more fruit-driven or firmer in style. The combination cannot be clearly assigned to a single classic origin; comparable cuvée styles can be found, for example, in Australia and South Africa. Oak ageing can add toasted aromas and soften the tannins. It pairs well with quickly seared meat, braised dishes or hearty vegetable dishes.
