Wine Ranges in Our Selection

Our selection of Vergelegen wines showcases the estate's impressive diversity. The entry point is the accessible yet sophisticated Estate wines, a red and a white blend. The Reserve line features single-varietal wines like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, or Merlot, which brilliantly express the terroir. For special moments, we offer the elegant Florence Rosé, the festive MMV Brut Reserve sparkling wine, and the exquisite Straw White dessert wine. At the top are the flagship blends GVB Red and GVB White, as well as the estate's absolute icon, the V, a world-class wine.

Vergelegen's wines are versatile food companions. A chilled Wild Winds Sauvignon Blanc pairs wonderfully with fresh seafood, salads, or goat cheese. The Chardonnay Reserve harmonises beautifully with creamy risotto, poultry, or fish dishes. The red wines, such as the Estate Red or Merlot Reserve, are ideal partners for grilled meats, rack of lamb, or robust pasta dishes. The grand wines like the GVB Red or the V call for a special occasion and accompany opulent stews or a perfectly roasted beef fillet.
