Wine guideGermany in a Glass: More Than Just Riesling
When you think of German wine, Riesling might be the first thing that comes to mind. And while we love this noble grape, Germany has so much more to offer! The German wine scene is undergoing a transformation, led by a new generation of winemakers who blend tradition with modern ideas. Our small but fine collection of German wines pays homage to this fresh approach. You won't find dusty classics here, but rather lively, characterful wines that are simply a joy to drink.
Style & Grape Varieties: Fresh, Fun, Fruity
Our selection focuses on modern, accessible wines. At the heart are the creative cuvées of 'Max & Moritz Streiche' – playful yet sophisticated blends that showcase the potential of German vineyards. Alongside them, you'll also find single-varietal wines like an elegant Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris). A large portion of our German wines are certified organic, as we believe sustainability and quality go hand in hand. Whether it's a crisp white wine or a light rosé, these wines are uncomplicated companions for every day, impressing with freshness and a clear fruit profile.
Origin: German Wine Tradition Reimagined
Germany is one of the northernmost wine-growing regions in the world. This cool climate allows for a long ripening period for the grapes, resulting in wines with a characteristic crisp acidity and an impressive aromatic diversity. Our wines reflect this special character, interpreted by winemakers who master their craft and boldly forge new paths. They prove that German wine can be exciting and innovative far beyond the well-known regions and grape varieties.
Food Pairing: Versatile All-Rounders
The wines in this collection are true all-rounders at the dinner table. The fresh white wines and cuvées pair wonderfully with light dishes such as salads, fish, white meat, or asparagus. The rosé is the perfect aperitif on a mild summer evening or an ideal companion for grilled foods and Mediterranean appetisers. And for larger gatherings or special occasions, some of our bestsellers are also available in magnum bottles – because joy shared is joy doubled!
Our Price Range
Quality doesn't have to be unaffordable. Our German wines offer fantastic value for money. Prices start at around €13 for a standard bottle and go up to about €30 for special formats like magnums. This allows you to enjoy first-class, handcrafted organic wines from Germany without breaking your budget.
