Translation missing: en.Tasting Notes
The Angels Tears Fruity Red Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon from the Winery Grande Provence is a fruity and accessible red wine that impresses with its harmonious variety of aromas.
On the nose, pronounced aromas of red and black berries unfold, accompanied by subtle wood notes and a hint of spice. On the palate, this fruity profile continues, supported by soft, smooth tannins that give the wine a pleasant structure.
The finish is gentle and lingering, making this wine an ideal companion for everyday enjoyment.
Composition
41% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Shiraz, 5% Petit Verdot

Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Petit Verdot
This cuvée combines dark fruit, spice and a supportive structure. Merlot and Shiraz often contribute juicy plum and blackberry notes as well as fullness and body; Shiraz often adds peppery accents. Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot mainly contribute tannin, depth of colour and acidity , with Cabernet Sauvignon sometimes recalling blackcurrants and Petit Verdot violets. The result is supple fruit balanced by a firmer grip and freshness.
In the glass, the cuvée usually appears deep ruby-red to purple. Such combinations can be found, for example, in Australia and South Africa, but cannot be clearly assigned to any classic region of origin. Depending on the climate and Aged, the style ranges from fruit-driven and approachable to powerful and suitable for ageing; oak can contribute toasted aromas and additional spice. It pairs well with roasted meat, hearty vegetable dishes or mature cheese.
