Translation missing: en.Tasting notes
The Cabernet Sauvignon from the Winery Dieu Donné shows aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, and cassis. Added to this are earthy-spicy notes in the finish with nuances of tobacco.
The Cabernet Sauvignon matured for eighteen months in French oak and is thus a red wine of opulent body. A truly very balanced Cabernet Sauvignon, which has integrated its barrique notes very well and is therefore the perfect companion for lovers of robust and fruity red wines.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon usually produces full-bodied red wines with a clear structure and pronounced tannin. Typical aromas include blackcurrant, dark cherry and Blackberry, often accompanied by herbal or slightly peppery notes. Pronounced acidity gives the dense fruit profile definition. In the glass, the grape variety usually shows a deep ruby-red colour, often with violet reflections in its youth. With increasing maturity, hints of tobacco and cedarwood may develop.
Its historic home is Bordeaux; important growing regions are also found in California, Chile, Australia and South Africa. Cooler sites often promote a more focused, herbaceous style, while warmer regions tend to produce riper fruit and greater richness. Depending on the ageing, the result is fruit-driven or oak-influenced wines with varying tannin textures. They pair well with hearty meat dishes, braised vegetables and mature cheese.
