Tasting Note

The Cabernet Sauvignon Limited Release from La Bri Winery is made only in exceptional vintages and is limited to just 1300 bottles. It has a velvety texture that envelops aromas of cassis and delicate pencil shavings. On the palate, it is powerful, precisely structured and long-lasting.

The grapes come exclusively from Block 1 Cabernet, planted in 1999 in Franschhoek. After a week-long cold maceration, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation took place in barrel, followed by 24 months of ageing in French oak. The result is a wine of pure expression and elegance that impressively reflects the uniqueness of the terroir.
