Winery Le Lude

Le Lude Estate is located in Franschhoek and is one of the leading houses for Méthode Cap Classique in South Africa.
Founded by Nic and Ferda Barrow, Le Lude is known for its uncompromising quality philosophy and its focus on traditional bottle fermentation.
The wines mature for a long time on the lees and show exceptional elegance and finesse.
Le Lude was the first South African Winery to introduce the Agrafe method – that is, aging with natural corks – for MCCs.
Visitors enjoy not only the sparkling wines but also the elegant Orangerie restaurant on the estate.
