The Vergelegen Wild Winds Sauvignon Blanc displays a brilliant, pale yellow colour in the glass.
The nose reveals intense aromas of gooseberry, citrus fruit and a hint of green pepper, accompanied by delicate minerality.
On the palate, the wine is fresh, vibrant and precise, with refreshing acidity and a long, clean finish. An elegant Sauvignon Blanc in a cool-climate style that impressively reflects the unique terroir of the Wild Winds vineyard.

Sauvignon Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc is an internationally widespread and popular white grape variety. In the glass, it usually shows a pale yellow colour with greenish reflections. It is characterised by intense, fresh aromas of gooseberry, grass, green apple, sometimes also lime and passion fruit. These are often accompanied by a mineral note.
This grape variety is distinguished by a lively, often crisp acidity that gives the wine freshness and length. The wines are generally made in a dry style, with a lean to medium-bodied structure and no noticeable tannins. They are known for their distinctive, unmistakable character.
Originally from the Loire Valley in France, Sauvignon Blanc is now grown in many wine regions around the world, including New Zealand, Bordeaux, South Africa and Chile. It pairs beautifully with salads, fish dishes and seafood.
