The Viognier from De Grendel Winery has a rich, exotic bouquet of ripe yellow stone fruit, jasmine, honey and cloves.

On the palate, the wine surprises with fresh yet elegant notes. A slight hint of creaminess comes through on the finish. On the first sip, the wine is light and sparkling, with a surprisingly slight oiliness on the mid-palate.

The Viognier from De Grendel Winery pairs beautifully with spicy curries served with poppadums, naan bread and sambals, or with succulent tagines. Spiced butternut squash soup and honey-glazed root vegetables also complement the wine’s aromas beautifully.
