The Syrah from Winery La Motte is a true expression of its terroir. The microclimate of the mountain slopes and valley floors in Franschhoek gives it a particularly elegant character.
This Syrah wine shows natural fruitiness, with aromas of pear and mulberry. The red wine grape variety Durif contributes colour, plum fruit and texture.
A shaded vineyard block produces a black pepper spice that is clearly noticeable on the palate. The oak aromas are well integrated, and the palate has a creamy texture.
