This cuvée combines dark fruit with supportive structure: Merlot often brings plum aromas, richness and a supple texture, while Cabernet Sauvignon adds definition with blackcurrant, acidity and firm tannins. Cabernet Franc complements the fruit profile with red berries, freshness and herbal spice. Petit Verdot can enhance the colour, tannins and body, as well as adding spicy and floral notes.

The blend draws on Bordeaux-inspired cuvée styles, but is not tied to a specific origin. These wines are made in places such as Bordeaux, Tuscany and California. Depending on the climate and ageing, the style can range from taut and herbaceous to ripe, concentrated and soft; oak can contribute additional toasted and spicy notes.

In the glass, it usually shows a deep ruby red, sometimes with violet hues. Fruit depth, acidity and tannins together shape the overall impression. It pairs well with quickly seared meat, braised dishes or hearty vegetable dishes.
