Zevenwacht Wine Estate

The Zevenwacht Winery, whose name means “Seven Expectations,” combines a rich history with modern winemaking on the famous Stellenbosch Wine Route. It is located in the leading Stellenbosch wine region and offers visitors a range of delights and insights into the winemaking process.

Zevenwacht’s philosophy focuses on creating a diverse range of wines that reflect the terroir of the Stellenbosch wine region . The winery produces wine ranges such as the Zevenwacht Z Collection and the Zevenwacht Estate-range, all of which combine quality and character. Recent awards at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026 and the Prescient & Winemag Autumn Series Awards 2026 underscore its commitment to excellent wines.

The terroir is shaped by its unique location. The vineyards benefit from diverse soils and a favourable climate, offering ideal conditions for grape varieties such as South African Sauvignon Blanc, South African Chenin Blanc and South African Syrah/Shiraz . Zevenwacht is proud to produce wines that combine tradition and innovation and represent the richness of South Africa’s wine landscape.
