The Glen Carlou The Collection Red Blend is a first-class red wine from the esteemed Glen Carlou Winery in South Africa. This wine is a carefully assembled blend of different red grape varieties, expertly combined to create a harmonious flavour profile.
The Red Blend from The Collection range is made from hand-selected grapes sourced from the sun-drenched vineyards of the Glen Carlou Winery. The grapes are carefully vinified to preserve the natural aromas and quality of each variety.
On the nose, the Glen Carlou Gravel Quarry Cabernet Sauvignon shows intense aromas of dark berries, such as blackcurrant and Blackberry. These are complemented by subtle notes of spices, such as black pepper and cedarwood. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with ripe tannins and remarkable structure. The fruit aromas persist and harmonise with a subtle oak note. The long-lasting finish rounds off the tasting experience.
