Tasting Note

In the glass, a deep, dark ruby red with the first signs of maturity. The nose offers intense aromas of ripe plum and dark fruit, accompanied by spicy notes of clove and liquorice and a hint of pepper. Ageing in French oak gives the wine added depth and a delicate, warm spice. Powerful and full-bodied on the palate, with dense, juicy fruit and a clear structure. The tannins are soft and supple, yet present enough to give the wine backbone and length. Spicy and fruity elements blend harmoniously, creating an intense yet balanced overall impression. The finish is long, slightly savoury and marked by lingering notes of dark fruit, spices and liquorice.
