Rupert & Rothschild is the result of a prestigious partnership between the South African Rupert family and the French family of Baron Benjamin de Rothschild. Their shared goal: to create world-class wines that combine the best of both worlds. The winery is located in the picturesque Franschhoek Valley, a historically significant wine-growing area in South Africa. The terroir, characterized by ideal climatic conditions and fertile soils, provides the perfect foundation for producing the highest quality grapes and wines of exceptional elegance and complexity.
Wine Ranges in our Portfolio
Our selection reflects the winery's philosophy. The 'Classique' is an iconic Bordeaux-style red blend, typically made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. It is known for its harmonious balance and approachable character. The 'Baroness Nadine' is an outstanding Chardonnay that represents the elegance of the estate's white wines with its finesse and creamy texture. At the top is the 'Baron Edmond', a powerful and profound blend from the best batches of the vintage, which has enormous ageing potential and is the estate's flagship wine.
