Chardonnay and Viognier can contribute body and a soft texture, while Chenin Blanc provides definition with its distinctive acidity ; Chardonnay can also support the freshness. Aromatically, apple, pear and citrus fruits meet the notes of apricot and blossomsdriven by Viognier. Subtle spice can complement the interplay. Tannin usually does not play a defining role. In the glass, the cuvée typically ranges from pale yellow to golden yellow, depending on its maturity and ageing.
