Avondale’s Navitas red wine has an intense aroma of dark, stewed fruits such as plum and Blackberry, accompanied by spice notes of cinnamon, cloves and white pepper. Subtle hints of earthiness and fine minerality follow, evoking cool, stony soils. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, soft and elegant, with silky, integrated tannins and fine, lively freshness that lends the wine length and depth. The finish is spicy, fruit-forward and lingering.
