The Chardonnay Unwooded from Winery Dieu Donné impresses on the nose with aromas of pineapple and lemon. The Chardonnay promises delicate hints of pear and guava on the palate, which linger on the finish.
This special white wine was aged on the lees for six months, giving it soft, rounded flavours, as well as lovely complexity and creaminess.

Chardonnay
Chardonnay is one of the best-known and most versatile white grape varieties in the world, distinguished by its remarkable ability to adapt to different climates and soils. In the glass, it often shows a bright yellow with golden highlights. Its flavour profile ranges from fresh notes of green apple, citrus fruit and mineral hints in cooler regions to more opulent aromas of tropical fruit, hazelnut and vanilla when aged in oak in warmer growing regions.
Chardonnay's structure can range from lean and refreshingly crisp to full and creamy and smooth , often accompanied by moderate to pronounced acidity. It is grown in almost every wine-producing country worldwide, from Burgundy to California and Australia.
This grape variety is an excellent partner for a wide range of dishes, including fish, poultry and white meat, with the ideal pairing depending on the style.
