Winery Dieu Donné

The Winery Dieu Donné is located high on the steep, southwest-facing slopes of the Franschhoek Mountains. This unique location favors a cool climate and, combined with the rocky soils of weathered granite, creates a unique terroir that is ideal for viticulture.
These conditions ensure that the vines do not grow excessively and produce only highly concentrated grapes in small quantities, which can only be found in this form at the Winery Dieu Donné.
"Dieu Donné" literally means "A Gift from God." The spectacular mountain backdrop of the Winery only confirms this translation all too well.
