The Antonij Rupert Groendruif Semillon is a remarkable white wine, distinguished by its complex aromas and fine structure. This wine unfolds a fascinating bouquet of waxy lemon notes, complemented by a creamy-nutty nuance and a subtle hint of dusty gravel path.
On the palate the wine is lively, taut and refreshing with a bright, vital acidity that provides lasting freshness. The waxy lemon notes enrich the mid-palate, while the lively acid structure brings clarity and balance. The finish is long and gently creamy, wonderfully underlining the concentration and coherence of this wine.
This wine is both enjoyable now and ideal for longer cellaring, during which it will gain further depth and complexity.
