In 1991, Hamilton Russell took over his parents' Winery near the fishing town of Hermanus on the Cape of Good Hope. Since then, he has been producing experimental and curious high-quality wines from carefully selected grapes. Hamilton Russel Wineyards is one of the southernmost wineries in Africa .

The Winery pioneered winegrowing in the cool, maritime Hemel-en-Aarde Valley region, located behind the old fishing village of Hermanus. The Winery specializes in the production of highly individual, terroir-influenced Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This makes Hamilton Russell Vineyards one of the best wineries in South Africa and the New World.

After completing his school career , Emul Ross studied viticulture and enology at the University of Stellenbosch. After an internship in 2008, he was employed at Graham Beck Wines in Franschhoek. Now Hamilton Russel can draw on his enormous talent . The winery team also consists of Anthony and his wife Olive , and Johan Montgomery , who looks after the well-being of the vines.

The Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc 2023 from the Winery Hamilton Russell Vineyards is an extraordinarily fine and balanced Sauvignon Blanc from the Walker Bay wine region in South Africa.

In the glass it shines Southern Right in a radiant Strohgelb with easy golden reflections. In the nose shows a complex bouquet.
