Tasting Note

Deep, dark ruby red in the glass. The nose reveals intense aromas of blackberries and dried cranberries, accompanied by spicy notes of liquorice and a hint of anise. Ageing in French oak gives the wine added depth and fine structure. Powerful yet balanced on the palate, with a lovely balance of fruit, spice and oak. Merlot brings roundness and elegance, while Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure and length. The tannins are present but well integrated, giving the wine a pleasing texture. The finish is long, smooth and harmonious, with lingering notes of dark fruit and delicate spice.
